From 5 March, some hospital appointments will start to show in the NHS App as well as in MyCare.

At first, patients attending Adult ENT at UCLH will be able to view their outpatient appointments for these clinics in the NHS App. This includes upcoming appointments and any appointments from the past two years.

The information will link from our hospital systems into the NHS App. This is an additional way to view your appointment details and supports the national programme to make hospital appointment information easier for patients to access through the NHS App.

Your hospital appointment information will still come through MyCare, appointment letters, and SMS reminders. MyCare will continue to be available with all the features you are using now.

We are working to expand this option to include appointment details of most of our outpatient clinic appointments over time.

If there is a technical issue with MyCare, patients should contact the MyCare Help Desk at uclh.mycare@nhs.net.

Who can see their hospital appointments in the NHS App?

From 5 March 2026, patients attending Adult ENT at UCLH will be able to view their outpatient appointments for these clinics in the NHS App. This includes upcoming appointments and any appointments from the past two years.

What information will I see in the NHS App?

You will see a “read‑only” snapshot of your upcoming outpatient appointments for these clinics, linked directly from our hospital system. This means you can view your appointment details but cannot make changes in the NHS App.

Which appointments will not appear in the NHS App?

Appointments from any other services at our hospitals will not yet appear in the NHS App.

No radiology, day case, or inpatient appointments will show up in the NHS App.

No appointments older than two years will show in the NHS App.

What should I do if my appointment looks wrong or does not appear?

Please check MyCare, if you use the App, your appointment letter, or contact your hospital department directly.

If you are having technical problems with MyCare, you can contact the MyCare Help Desk at uclh.mycare@nhs.net.

Does this replace MyCare?

No. MyCare is still your main UCLH hospital app and place to see your appointments and manage your care at UCLH and RNOH. The NHS App simply gives you another easy way to view your outpatient appointment details.

What is the difference between MyCare and the NHS App?

MyCare is our hospital patient app and online service to help you manage your care at our hospitals. You access MyCare on a computer at https://mycare.uclh.nhs.uk/mycare/ and the mobile app version runs on Epic’s MyChart app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. See: MyCare UCLH | Manage Your UCLH Appointments, Records and Results Online.

The NHS App is a national service that brings together information from different NHS services. See: www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/   UCLH is in the process of linking our MyCare app with the NHS App so patients will start to see some of their hospital appointment information in the NHS App. Not all appointments will show in the NHS App from the start. We are introducing this in phases.

Patients will still use MyCare to access information and manage their care at our hospitals.
