We are now in the process of rolling out the vaccine to those groups who the independent JCVI* have decided need it most when the supplies are available to us. To help to deliver the roll out, UCLH has partnered with The Business Design Centre in Islington to set up a new large scale vaccination centre.

The NHS will contact you when it’s your turn so please don’t seek a vaccine before then, as the centre will not be operating on a “walk in” or “on request” basis. We do not anticipate any disruption to those who live or work near the site. However, if you have any questions or concerns you can read the answers to some specific questions we have anticipated we may receive below.

Those prioritised for the vaccine will be contacted through a letter or text from NHS England, when the time is right, asking them to make an appointment either by phone or online.

Prioritisation is defined by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) and is largely based on age, as risk from COVID-19 increases with age.

More information about prioritisation can be found here.

Please do not contact the vaccination centre to make an appointment, or turn up without an appointment.
