UCLH has once again formed a partnership with the Business Design Centre in Islington to reopen the large-scale COVID-19 vaccination centre.

The centre is open from 10am on Saturday 18 December 2021, and then daily* from 9.30am-6pm until 10 January.

You can walk into the centre for your appointment or you can book an appointment online or by calling 119.

Vaccine type: Moderna.

Please note, we are not able to vaccinate people under 18 years old at the BDC.

Travelling to the Business Design Centre

The nearest tube station is Angel (Northern Line), which is just a five minute walk away.

Highbury and Islington is also close by and has both underground and overground connections.

There are a range of bus stops near the venue which cover several routes in and around London. Please visit the TFL journey planner to plan your trip.

There are several Santander Cycle Hire stations located in Islington should you wish to rent one. The Business Design Centre also has free secure cycle storage in the onsite car park.

The Business Design Centre offers onsite parking for over 230 vehicles under 1.9 metres.

We are offering Moderna at the Business Design Centre.

We will be offering walk-in appointments for anyone 18 and over. We will not be offering vaccinations for anyone below that age at this site.

We will also be offering booked appointments if you prefer, through the National Bookings System or by calling 119.

The vaccination centre will be located in the Gallery Hall.

This will be signposted on arrival.

The vaccination centre will be open from 10am – 6pm on the 18 December, and from 9.30am – 6pm most other days.

However, the centre will be closed December 24 – December 26 and again on January 1.

If you have pre-booked your appointment, please bring your booking reference number with you  when you come to your vaccination appointment.

Please bring a face covering and wear this at all times unless you cannot wear one for a health or disability reason. 

Please help us to see you more quickly by having the following information ready:

  • Your NHS number
  • GP details
  • Details of your emergency contact

You will not be able to book a vaccination appointment by ringing the vaccination centre. Please use the National Booking System for this.

If you are unable to make your booked appointment and wish to rebook please contact 119 or amend your booking on the National Booking System.

Please do not ring the Business Design Centre.

We are also offering walk-in appointments, so you can queue for a vaccination on another day if you do not wish to rebook.

Visitors can be assured that all staff will be observing social distancing where possible and wearing all the appropriate personal protective equipment.

Masks or face coverings are a condition of entry, so please bring a face covering with you, unless you are exempt for medical reasons.

Hand washing stations and hand sanitisers are available in all public areas of the venue and we ask that you follow the guidance, which is available around the venue and on the Business Design Centre website at http://bdc.london/advice

Toilets, including accessible toilets, will be open for those attending the vaccination centre. All toilets are signposted around the perimeter of the venue space.
