Information alert

If you need a large print, audio, braille, easy-read, age-friendly or translated copy of this page, email the patient information team at uclh.patientinformation@nhs.net. We will do our best to meet your needs.

If your UCLH clinician or GP referred you for a blood test, you can book the appointment for the blood test (phlebotomy) on your computer, phone or tablet through Swiftqueue.

You can then also use your Swiftqueue account to view any blood test appointments you book and change or cancel your appointments as needed.

  1. Go to https://swiftqueue.co.uk/UCLH_CC.php or scan the QR code on the left with the camera on your phone or tablet.
  2. Choose a type of referral: GP Referral (if referred by your GP), UCLH Outpatient Dept. Referral (if referred by a UCLH clinician), or Macmillan Cancer Center Referral (if you are visiting the Macmillan Cancer Center for blood tests).
  3. Choose the UCLH location where you prefer to have your test done. (Please only select the Macmillan Cancer Centre if you’ve been referred by the Macmillan Cancer Centre. Only select GP clinics if you have been referred by your GP.)
  4. Choose a day and time for your test. Only available appointment slots will be shown. Once selected, click the Next button. (You are nearly done: Just login to your Swiftqueue account to complete the booking or register for a Swiftqueue account if you are a new user.)
  5. Log in (if you have a Swiftqueue account) or Register (if you are a new user)
  6. You will need to read the Data Processing Consent pop-up and agree to the information on the notice to proceed with registration.
  7. Complete all the fields (email, password, name, surname, date of birth, telephone, and gender) and select register.
  8. Look for an email from support@swiftqueue.com with your activation code. (Please also check your Junk or Spam email folder.) Add the code to the registration page and confirm to activate your Swiftqueue account.
  9. On the final screen, select the Patient Name and tick both boxes at the bottom to agree to the terms and conditions of the appointment. Then select Confirm.

You will then receive a confirmation email and/or SMS text message for your appointment. Please also check your Junk or Spam email folder.

If you are unable to book online or have issues with your booking, please contact the UCLH Pathology team.
