	We support people aged between 16 and 25 who are patients at NHNN
	As the parent or carer for a young patient, we are here for you too
	We know it can be a difficult time for families you may have other family to look after
	you may be worried about your person being in hospital - perhaps for the first time
	We can offer help to your family member during their first time in hospital
	We visit wards and can be in touch with the team looking after your young patient
	We are here to listen to your worries and to offer help where we can
	The ward tells us when your young patient is admitted to hospital
	How it works
	by getting in touch with you and asking what you need
	by explaining what is going on with your young person's treatment
	by being at meetings with their doctors and nurses – and speaking up on behalf of the young patient if you think this would be helpful
	by providing games and other ways of passing the time
	by introducing them to groups of other young patients
	and by suggesting links to other charities and organisations that can help
