You will have your treatment in cycles of 3 to 4 weeks – this is so your body gets time to rest and recover between cycles |

Sometimes you may need to come to us more often – if we think you need this we will talk this through with you |

You will have a blood test before each treatment |

Sometimes we will give you the blood test on the day of your appointment – it takes up to 2 hours to get the results so we may ask you to come in early |

If you have had your blood test at another hospital, bring the results with you |

Bring any medicines with you that you usually take during the day |

Bring things with you to do during your treatment – for example a book, laptop, phone or tablet |

If you want to bring in your own food, make sure it doesn’t contain nuts – this is because other patients may be allergic to them |
