UCLH Andrology have recently created a new specialty on ERS for the Andrology Erectile Dysfunction pathway, to streamline the referral process.
Erectile dysfunction (including Peyronie's Disease) previously fell under 'General Andrology' at UCLH.
Please now use the specific Erectile Dysfunction specialty on ERS when making your referral.
Referrals are accepted via the erectile dysfunction pathway for the following conditions:
For all other andrological conditions, including those listed below, please continue to refer to General Andrology on ERS.
Please follow the NCL primary care pathway for referrals, available:
https://gps.northcentrallondon.icb.nhs.uk/topics/urology#pathways
Please note, referrals will not be accepted if the primary care pathway for the condition has not been followed. Please enclose evidence of the interventions trialled and reason for referral when submitting a referral to UCLH.
We are developing a referral form for this service to support with streamlining referrals and will share further details, once published.
Should you have any queries about management of a patient’s symptoms, please complete an advice and guidance request, which can then be converted to a referral, if appropriate.
Should a referral be required to another provider, the triaging clinician will arrange a re-direction or write back to the GP with appropriate advice regarding the triage decision and any further action required.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact uclh.enquiry.andrology@nhs.net
Many thanks,
The UCLH Andrology Team
