This is a speech and language therapy service for deaf or hard of hearing adults who are having communication difficulties because of a hearing loss. The primary focus of the service is to help with spoken English skills.

Volunteers are a highly valued part of the team at UCLH. Volunteering is a great way of giving back, doing something different and get some experience. Roles tend to be for a minimum of half a day a week for 6 months. For most of our roles you don’t necessarily need have to have prior experience as the key things we are looking for are great people skills and an ability to give us a regular commitment.
