UCLH will transition to a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for Blood Science disciplines’ (Biochemistry, Immunology, Haematology, Coagulation and Virology) testing. The new platform is known as ‘Helix’. This is a change to the laboratory system only, as such there should be no change to GP users in requesting or receiving reports.

Johanna Moss was appointed to the Board on 7 January 2025 as the director of strategy. Prior to this Jo was the chief strategy and transformation officer for the North East London Integrated Care Board and she also held the role of director of strategy and partnerships at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for seven years, where she was the lead for their major capital project to build a new hospital and research centre in Camden.
