The Intestinal Failure (IF) Service at UCH is a multidisciplinary service managing the complex needs of patients with gastrointestinal fistulas. The team includes consultant surgeons, anaesthetists, radiologists and nutritional gastroenterologists, as well as specialist nurses with expertise in this area. Volunteers are a highly valued part of the team at UCLH. Volunteering is a great way of giving back, doing something different and get some experience. Roles tend to be for a minimum of half a day a week for 6 months. For most of our roles you don’t necessarily need have to have prior experience as the key things we are looking for are great people skills and an ability to give us a regular commitment.
