Dr Roser Vega is a consultant gastroenterologist and interventional colonoscopist. She leads the University College Hospital interventional colonoscopy service, providing advanced diagnosis and endoscopic treatment for colonic polyps and early colon cancers. She also delivers specialist care to patients with complex inflammatory bowel disease.

All medications given to you while you are an inpatient are provided free of charge. At follow-up appointments, you may be given a prescription by your doctor or nurse. This must be collected from the hospital pharmacy; you cannot take it to your local chemist. There is a standard prescription charge per item which you can pay for by cash or card.

Volunteers are a highly valued part of the team at UCLH. Volunteering is a great way of giving back, doing something different and get some experience. Roles tend to be for a minimum of half a day a week for 6 months. For most of our roles you don’t necessarily need have to have prior experience as the key things we are looking for are great people skills and an ability to give us a regular commitment.
